Painfully cheesey video.... but at the same time it's amazing that a multi million pound facility was been so badly managed around a construction project. I mean why on earth you would commence works that render the site unable to earn any income before you are certain that all your ducks are lined up I have no idea. I mean when I look at it I'm struck be just how little work they have done.

A lot of the damage was caused by the building on the new tunnel - and I suspect the rest is down to "infrastructure needs" - cabling/pipes etc.

Rather sad it has come to that. It isn't the only circuit which has been damaged and not repaired

I'm surprised they didn't have some insurance in place - or maybe it would have been prohibitive.

It'll end up as part of the airport one day despite the wishes to erect a Tom Wheatcroft monument out of all the fund raising monies from last weekend.
