hey,

i've been looking in to this lately, i'm very interested. i have a few questions. what would you recommend for an e36 M3 3.0 road/track car?-i do about 10 track days a year but i've noticed the oil getting way too hot lately after 5 or 6 laps...also is there something you can fit to regulate the temp because i've heard it can be hard to get the oil up to temperature in a road car during winter with a big oil cooler.
cheers

Hia,

You can use a thermostat that only opens when the oil reaches a certain temperature. This means the oil will only be cooled when above a certain temp, so warm up is not effected and the oil won't be over cooled.

As for size, I cannot for the life of me find the information and I can't remember. Whack a post up in the tech help section and see what the racers are running?

Hope that helps.

Yep can supply any parts required from Mocal. Looking at having some adaptors made to turn the standard OE female hole for the OE hose, to a threaded union for easier aftermarket pipe fitment.
